An actor while performing on stage or screen, as a comic or dramatic character, using a text or originally created work, is first of all a storyteller at the service of play. This introductory, hands-on workshop is a journey into the pleasure of acting with the whole body through a physical approach to character creation that allows participants to develop a theatrical skill set for storytelling. The workshop proposes: -mime and pantomime for the creation of space and nuances of character; -directing, writing and adapting through improvisation using traditional stories from the Brothers Grimm collection of fairy tales - or a story of your own choice!
