Mimo-dynamic: analysis of the natural elements towards character creation
Play: creation of theatrical characters
Devising Work: student lead scene creation

Two-Day Workshop
Led by Faculty Member Marc Frost
This
physical theater approach to characterization will present participants
with new perspectives on creating characters with an unique and playful
physicality, informed by the poetic sensibility of the performing
artist. In addition, participants will create original scenes in smaller groups during their 'Devising Class'.
This
approach encourages artists to exercise their unique creativity toward originating characters while exploring the multiple disciplines of acting, playwriting and directing that are essential in the working process of an actor-creator.
